The Knights of Death

From within the Old Kingdom, Wearing mismatched armour and wielding ancient weapons with no two looking alike, The Knights of Death shamble in small warbands, wandering through the lands and bringing the gift of death to all who stand in the way of their search for unknown artefacts.

Members of The Purging God

Many The Knights of Death follow the gosple of The Cleansing God

The High Priest of the Chapel of Death

Acting as the Head of the Priesthood of the Cleansing God, they lead a small group in search of their Lost God, raiding the small scattered settlements and torturing the populations to gather as much information as possible to find any information that may lead to the Lost God, after which they deem these populations as being unclean, ‘cleansing’ them of life and burning everything down only leaving a single pile of burning corpses in the centre.

With a great sword imbued with what appears to be an incense burner in place of the pommel (I could not get close enough to get a good enough view to confirm so).

Their shield depicts the great thorned vine, the one icon known of the Lost God, paired with the stars of the Navigator. I believe that this pairing of icons shows their devotion to the search for the Lost God.

Those who follow the High Priest of the Chapel of Death see themselves as unclean, believing that if they find the Lost God they will finally become clean, driving themselves to fanaticism.

They however deem the Wasters as the most unclean, giving them the name of Impure. They often replace lost limbs with arcane tech so that they may continue to cleanse the unclean.

Priesthood of the Cleansing God

Acting as the Grand Executioner of the Priesthood of the Cleansing God, this giant standing at what I can only estimate 8 feet tall is one terrifying monstrosity.

Striding into battle with barely any armour they have the followers of the Priesthood of the Cleansing God drag their still-living victims to them, to which they will proceed to disembowel them slowly with their sword that is more of a sharpend bar of iron.

Warbands

All The Knights of Death form into small warbans when they venture into the Wastes

War Priests

One thing that all warbands of the Knights of Death is that they seem to be led by strange figures only Known as War Priests. They conjure strange spells cast from the small gemstones that they carry.

The vast majority of the Knights of Death are simply referred to as Knights, coming in many forms with mismatched armour they fight for their decaying land in hopes that one day their lost god will return and bring prosperity once again.

Knights

Guarding the gates to the capital of The Old Kingdom, this lone knight waits endlessly until some poor soul attempts to enter the capital where they will take them down with their executioner’s sword.

The Gate Keeper

There are those within the ranks of knights who have decided to wear a suit of armour that resembles that of a portly man, They are known for wielding large weapons.

They have a particularly gruesome practice of eating the flesh of felled foes as they believe it will embew them with the strength of their horrific meals.

Flesh Eaters

One thing that all warbands of the Knights of Death is that they seem to be led by strange figures only Known as War Priests. They conjure strange spells cast from the small gemstones that they carry.
