Chevalier Houses
Chevalier houses come from a far-off land, Roaming into the Wastes as all, to search for many relics that lay within.
Chevalier suits are ancient machines that are mistaken to be Gods by the people who live in these lands.
The Chevalier is only piloted by the nobility or those who earn the prestige of piloting these war machines.
The cockpits of the Chevaliers are so incredibly small that for the nobles to pilot these war machines, must go through a grim ritual to have their limbs replaced by prosthetics. So that when they enter the suit the prosthetics are removed so that they can fit within the confined spaces within the chest of the suit.
Chevalier suits
Dominus Infinite
Each house is headed by a ‘Dominus Infinite’ who rules over the Chevalier who then are served by Junkers. Piolets of Chevaliers are nobles known as Dominus Infinite.
They'll replace their limbs with mechanics designed specially so they can pilot their Gods.
Junkers
Junkers are those who aspire to reach the rank of Dominus Infinite and will assist the Chevalier that they serve.
The Junkers will be trained in combat before they can even get the chance to have their limbs replaced if they even get a chance to pilot a suit.
Unit formations
Whenever the houses venture into the waste, A chevalier is usually present, along with a priest and 4 standard warriors.
The Bound
Whenever the warriors of the houses take prisoners of war they are often bound and blindfolded, seeing the fact they don’t wear the veils as a grave sin.

Uniform
All members of the military arm wear this suit including the Dominus Infinite.
Going into battle all warriors bear a veil, believing that this unifies them as one being.
Chevalier Boarding ritual
Each pilot boarding a Chevalier must undergo a long arduous ritual to just enter the cockpit of these great war machines.
The noble will first be laid down on a surgical table spread out.
The cloaked priests will walk slowly and methodically, holding incense and oils while chanting prayers to their many gods. Each comes in from a different angle matching each of the pilot limbs.
The high priest then walks in from the direction of the head. Waling past the Chevalier.
The high priest will then hold the pilot's head while four other priests will stand by each limb of the piolet.
The high priest will then hold out their arms as the four priests will slowly remove the piolet's limbs and then place them down in wooden boxes lined in silk held by more priests.
The High priest will then place oils on each of the ports where the limbs once were.
The pilot is then hoisted up by the waist and is then carried to the cockpit of the kneeling Chevalier.
The High priest then links up the ports of the Piolets to the chevaliers.
The High priest will then slowly walk backwards back to the table.
Two priests will then close the cockpit using the front armour panels of the Chevalier.
